Credit Analyst - 2+ Years - Pune

Location: Pune

Summary: Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and counterparty assessments of customers and supply chain partners for large corporations. This involves thorough industry/business research and financial analysis of various companies. Analyze financial performance, including past financial and business performance, and benchmark against peer performance. Project future performance of the company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support global Credit Analyst(s) to track the performance of a portfolio of Banks and Financial

    Institutions operating mostly in the European markets, and to respond to credit events with the purpose of

    enabling timely and accurate credit ratings and research

  2. Track and understand industry, regional and regulatory dynamics and trends

  3.  Analyze financial and operational performance; work on financial models and projections; and conduct peer analysis

  4.  Prepare internal credit analysis and notes

  5. Assist global Credit Analyst(s) in the preparation of publishable credit rating and research reports

Requirements:

  1. 1-3 OR 3-6 Years of relevant experience in credit analysis and ratings, credit research, and report writing.

  2. Covering global markets (preferably European countries) or domestic markets for Banking Sector/ Financial

    Institute

  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills

  4. Good understanding of international accounting standards, banking-related financial concepts, and

    strong analytical skills

  5. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with the larger team, and lead and mentor team members
