Senior Consultant/Manager - Automotive/Mobility - Business Consulting - Mumbai - (3 - 8 years)
Looking for a consulting professional with 3-8 years of experience in the automotive or mobility segment (e.g. electric vehicles, OEMs/auto-components) from business research or consulting background. You will manage business consulting projects involving consulting, business research, due diligence, feasibility analysis, competitive benchmarking, market analysis, financial modeling, valuations, and strategy development. Your role also includes policy work, regulatory aspects, project management, and market research.

Responsibilities:
- You need 3-5 years of experience in consulting firm with OEMs/auto-component manufacturers. You will handle consulting projects both on your own and with a team, focusing on project quality, timelines, and client relationships.
- Your role involves working on strategic projects for clients like manufacturing companies, investors, financial institutions, and government agencies. This includes tasks like market research, business strategy, policy work, financial modeling, and project management.
- Experience in India’s commercial vehicle and auto component industry is a plus.
- You will work with private and government clients like OEMs, banks, NBFCs, government departments, PSUs, and think tanks.
- You will manage projects from start to finish, including research, analysis, team coordination, solution development, and client communication.
- Assist managers in business outreach, preparing strategic pitches, internal planning, and tracking key business metrics.
- Spot and escalate potential business opportunities with existing clients.
- Take ownership of your projects, manage stakeholders, and ensure successful project completion. You will also prepare reports for senior management or external agencies.
Requirements:
- You need a management or engineering background with experience in consulting, business research, or strategy.
- Knowledge of the auto/auto components sector, especially trends like electric vehicles and alternative fuels.
- Willingness to travel and work on different client projects as needed.
- Understanding of the automotive and mobility market.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques used in modeling.
- Prior team handling experience preferred.
