IT Application Support Engineer – SLA/OLA, MS Windows, SQL Databases, ITIL, Re Insurance – 6+ Years – Bangalore

 

Are you passionate about providing exceptional technical support to internal business functions and have proficiency in OLA/SLA, ITIL in Reinsurance and brokerage claims with excellent communication skills, Then this opportunity is for you.

 

Location – Mumbai (Hybrid- rotational shift- 6:30 am to 3:30 pm/1:30 pm to 10:30 pm/2:30pm to 11:30pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Providing global technical support for Broking Platforms and other re-insurance applications.

  • Updating ticket log thoroughly within the Remedy call tracking tool.

  • Collaborating with internal IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  • Performing software installations, upgrades, and manage changes to application environments.

  • Proactively working with business and IT departments to make improvements and maintain system effectiveness.

  • Suggesting opportunities to improve.

  • Contributing to documentation and support knowledge base.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in IT-related qualifications and application/ production.

  • 2+ years proficiency in Windows server.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases.

  • Knowledge of Re-insurance business tools and Broking/Claims software applications.

  • Understanding of the Reinsurance/Insurance business.

  • Experience with cloud hosting and ITIL environment.

  • Familiarity with Remedy or other call tracking software

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.
