We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to plan, design, and automate the deployment of platform solutions on AWS. You will be instrumental in profiling and improving front-end and back-end application performance, mentoring team members, and taking end-to-end technical ownership of applications.

Responsibilities
Designing, building, and implementing performant and robust cloud platform solutions.
Designing and building data pipelines to support analytical solutions.
Providing level of effort estimates to support planning activities.
Developing microservices architecture and design specifications.
Fixing defects found during implementation or reported by the software test team.
Supporting software process definition and improvement initiatives and release processes, working with DevOps teams in CI/CD pipelines developed with Terraform and CDK as Infrastructure-as-Code.
Executing security architectures for cloud systems.
Understanding and mitigating quality consequences from improper job performance, including product design, verification, validation, and testing activities.
Collaborating with Product Designers, Product Managers, Architects, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.Reporting Relationships:
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in cloud application development.
Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience in architecting and developing event-driven cloud-based solutions.
Experience with AWS services including API Gateway, AppSync, Amplify, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, Step Functions, SQS, EventBridge, Cognito, DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, AWS Pinpoint.
Extensive experience in POSIX-compliant environments.
Proficient in IAM security and AWS Networking.
Expertise in building and working with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in designing, developing, and creating data pipelines, data warehouse applications, and analytical solutions, including machine learning.
Deep cloud domain expertise in architecture, big data, microservice architectures, cloud technologies, data security and privacy, tools, and testing.
Excellent programming skills in data pipeline technologies like Lambda, Kinesis, S3, EventBridge, and MSK.
Extensive experience with Service-Oriented Architecture, microservices, virtualization, and working with relational and non-relational databases.
