Join us as a Senior QA Tester, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest software quality standards through manual and automated testing. You will lead key test phases (System Test, System Integration Test, UAT), collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive test strategy improvements in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute manual & automated test cases to validate application functionality.
  2. Lead test phases, including System Test, System Integration Test, and UAT.
  3. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to define test strategies. Identify and report defects with detailed evidence to support quick resolution.
  4. Ensure test execution aligns with agreed frameworks and audit standards.
  5. Work with tools such as Zephyr, Jira, and Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin for automation.
  6. Conduct API testing (RESTful & SOAP integrations).
  7. Track and report test progress, defects, and risks to stakeholders.
    Coach junior testers and act as a deputy for the Test Manager when needed.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    7+ years of experience in software testing within Insurance, Financial Services, or e-Commerce.
  2. Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, etc.).
  3. Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Ruby).
  4. Familiarity with Zephyr, Jira, and basic SQL for test data validation.
  5. Exposure to API testing (RESTful & SOAP integrations).
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  7. ISTQB Certification or equivalent experience preferred.
