Supply Chain Leader - FMCG - 18+ years - Mumbai

Location - Mumbai

We are looking out for a Supply Chain leader coming in with 18 to 20 years of experience from FMCG or foods industry,

You will play a key role in shaping strategic supply chain solutions, managing procurement and logistics, and driving operations aligned with the organizational growth and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities - 

1. Overseeing procurement for raw and packaging materials across all manufacturing locations.
2. Ensuring optimal stock levels at plant and depot locations, minimizing shortages and surpluses.
3. Implementing cost-effective transportation solutions between plants and depots.
4. Leading initiatives to enhance SAP implementation at distribution points.
5. Fostering and retaining top talent within the supply chain function.
6. Developing and managing budgets and procurement strategies to meet financial targets.
7. Driving production forecasting and coordinating with manufacturing for consistent product availability.
8. Aligning supply chain practices with business strategies and annual plans.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Engineering.
2. 18-20 years of experience in supply chain, with leadership in FMCG or manufacturing sectors preferred.
3. Perishable supply chain experience will be preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of inventory management, SAP, and logistics best practices.
5. Proven ability to manage procurement budgets and deliver cost-saving initiatives.
6. Effective communication and leadership skills to inspire teams and drive performance.
