Responsibilities
- Lead a team of finance professionals handling daily reconciliation, ledger validations, and matching exercises.
- Oversee the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timely coordination with clients and insurers.
- Perform audits, manage accounts receivable discrepancies, and establish clearance protocols aligned with financial standards.
- Drive process improvements and implement accounting best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, internal departments, and regulatory bodies to streamline operations and ensure compliance
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial reconciliation and invoicing, preferably in the insurance domain.
- Mandatory team management experience with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, brokerage accounting, and financial audit processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
