Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research and analyze data for general insurance actuarial projects in the US market.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored actuarial solutions.
- Examine and refine pricing models; prepare documentation and presentations for rate reviews and state filings.
- Support the learning and development of new team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, or actuarial sciences.
- Affiliated with IAI or IFOA, with 4-6 actuarial exams completed.
- 4+ years of experience in P&C pricing actuarial concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and experience applying actuarial/statistical methodologies.
- Familiarity with actuarial modeling packages (Emblem, RADAR, Earnix) and programming in SAS or Python.
- Knowledge of the US general insurance market is preferable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
