Responsibilities:
- Perform independent research and present findings as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members and clients on actuarial projects in the offshore insurance sector.
- Oversee project teams and manage stakeholder interactions effectively.
- Conduct detailed analyses of actuarial projects to ensure thorough examination and quality control.
- Create project roadmaps and plans to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for pricing models, rate revisions, and valuation reports.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, mathematics, or actuarial sciences.
- Professional affiliation with a recognized actuarial organization and completion of 9+ actuarial exams.
- At least 9 years of experience with a solid understanding of property and casualty actuarial concepts, particularly in pricing and reserving.
- Familiarity with the US general insurance market is preferred.
- Proficient in data extraction and manipulation using tools such as Excel, R, Python, or SAS.
- Strong skills in data analysis, including trend identification and univariate/multivariate analysis.
