Job Profile- Assistant Manager Accounts
Job Location- Mohali
Job Summary: The Accounts Manager will oversee all financial activities, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead the financial team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, especially within the fintech or forex industry.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee financial activities for our overseas projects, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.
Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including but not limited to, bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations.
Proficient in handling multi-currency transactions and well-versed with SAP B1 accounting software.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements related to overseas projects.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline financial processes.
Participate in financial audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
Maintain a strong control environment, implementing and monitoring financial policies and procedures.
Monitor cash flow and financial health of overseas projects, providing insights for decision-making.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of taxation and other compliances related to international projects.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Should have 5-8 years of experience in the field.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in a similar role within a financial service or fintech firm.
Extensive experience with SAP B1 and other financial management systems.
Knowledge of EU financial regulations and frameworks would be an advantage.
Deep understanding of the fintech/forex industry and its regulatory environment.
Adaptability to different cultures and understanding of global business practices.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
